Loose leaf season is at its peak this time of year and our crews are working diligently to get your loose leaves picked up. Unfortunately the wetter than normal weather has delayed our efforts. We are asking that you be patient and know that we are coming as fast as we can to gather your leaves. Our crews are currently working until dark each weekday and on Saturdays.
In an effort to help our crews please do not place anything but leaves in your pile. Placing limbs, logs or other foreign materials in your pile can prevent us from being able to collect your leaves and could possibly cause damage to our equipment or injure one of our employees. Also, do not park a vehicle on the street next to the curb where the leaf pile is located.
If you would like your leaves picked up on your scheduled trash pick-up day, you can bag them and place them next to your trash cart or put them in the cart.
Please remember to never place anything such as garbage cans, bags, loose leaves or other debris in the roadway or drainage areas. This can cause certain areas to flood and is a violation of the Zoning and Land Use Control - Stormwater Management and Pollution Control Ordinance, Section 14-205.
