One of the best ways to prepare for an emergency is to receive training through the CERT program. CERT is an acronym for Community Emergency Response Team. This program prepares the individual to help the community, home, and themselves in the event of a disaster. The Bartlett Fire Department offers CERT training on a regular basis. • A permit is required for all Commercial Real Estate signs. The following is required to make a application for permit:
1. A site plan, showing placement of sign and distance from roadway.2. A picture of the sign, with dimensions.3. Name and phone number of responsible party.4. PERMIT MUST BE RENEWED EVERY 6 MONTHS, AS LONG AS SIGN IS UP.
1. Only one sign per property, no matter the size.2. Max. square footage of signage is 20 sq. feet; if sign is two sided, 10 ft. per side is max.3. Max. height of sign is 5 ft., measured from ground to tallest point of sign.4. No banners, pennants or decorative flags can be attached to the sign.

A tax file is emailed to all of the major mortgage companies so they may identify the parcels they need to pay. However, a homeowner with a mortgage should forward tax notices received to their mortgage company.
Delinquent taxes may also by paid at the Shelby County Trustee's office at 157 Poplar Ave between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
State Tax Relief may be available to citizens 65 or older, with income of $29,180 or less in 2016, 100% permanently disabled veterans as determined by the Veteran's Administration or permanently disabled as rated by the Social Security Administration. City of Bartlett tax relief applications can be obtained from the Shelby County Trustee at 901-222-0200.
Tax Freeze may be available to citizens 65 or older, with income of $38,360 or less in 2016. Contact the Shelby County Trustee's office at 901-222-0200 for a City of Bartlett application.
We offer classes as early as 5:15 am and as late at 7:00 pm. Aerobics, Senior Fitness and Water Exercise classes come free with the membership. Due to a limited number of spin bikes and Barre space, you must sign-up at the Front Desk to participate in all spin classes and Barre classes. Minimum age to participate in group exercise is 14 unless otherwise posted. All classes are first come, first serve.
The water temperature of the pool is set at 83 degrees in order to provide an appropriate temperature for the wide variety of pool users including lap swimmers, open swimmers, water / arthritic exercise participants, and recreational swimmers. All chemicals are regulated through a complex computerized management system that automatically adds chemicals as needed.
Cash ONLY is accepted as payment for services that have been disconnected for non-payment or for returned checks. Payment must be made in person.

By adding $1 or more to your water bill, you can help prevent the termination of a cancer patient's water service or a family's electricity. The Family Assistance Commission oversees and distributes the money donated to the Family Funds program. The Commission's sole purpose is to identify Bartlett individuals and families whose health, safety, and general welfare are clearly in jeopardy and help those in need with finding the best assistance.
