Teaching Experience

Ms. Anderson-Malanga possesses substantial experience in arts education, having taught in pre-school settings, public schools, homeschool environments, higher education institutions, and youth outreach programs. Her background includes facilitating art workshops, providing private instruction, teaching at Arlington Middle School, and leading Continuing Education courses at organizations such as the Memphis College of Art.

Fall 2025 Art Classes

These sessions are open to all students interested in expanding their artistic abilities. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of artists, techniques, and styles, guiding each student in the development of personal artistic skills. Instructional activities encompass drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, and additional forms, utilizing a diverse range of materials including watercolors, pencils, chalk pastels, charcoal, oil pastel, ink, acrylics, canvas, and mixed media.

Each class will address numerous topics, such as representational drawing, rendering facial features, perspective, the grid method, still-life composition, abstract art, three-dimensional art, watercolor and acrylic painting, and optical illusion design, among others. Students receive a sketchbook and portfolio, with all required supplies provided.

Ages:   5-9 yrs          Time: 1:30-3 pm          Cost: $250 

Saturday Art Classes  (12 weeks)

• September: 6, 13, 20, 27
• October: 4, 18, 25
• November: 1, 15
• December: 6, 12, 20

Ages:  10-21 yrs      Time:  10-1 pm        Cost: $350

Ages:  5-9 yrs           Time:  1:30-3 pm    Cost:  $250
