In January 2023, Mayor David Parsons appointed Aaron A. Davidson as the Assistant Director of Public Works. Aaron has worked for the City of Bartlett for over 35 years.
He began his career with the Parks Department as a Utility Worker in May of 1988 and then transferred to the Public Works Grounds Maintenance Division in April of 1989. In 1999 Aaron attained his Front Line Supervision Training Certificate and after working eleven years in the Grounds Maintenance Division as a Driver One, Aaron was promoted to the position of Crew Leader in 2000.
After serving as Crew Leader for seven years and completing Level 1 and Level 2 of the Municipal Management Academy in 2006, Aaron was promoted to the position of Manager in the Grounds Maintenance Division in 2007 and continued his role as Manager for 15 years. During this time Aaron received an OSHA Level 2 Chemical Response Training Certificate and acquired numerous FEMA Training Certificates
Assistant Director Aaron A. Davidson is a graduate of Bolton High School and is married with two step-children and two grandchildren. Aaron enjoys restoring old cars, and spending time with his wife and grandchildren when he isn’t working.
