Code Enforcement Director Trey Arthur has been a Bartlett Resident since 1989. Trey attended Bolton High School and later served an electrical apprenticeship with the IBEW National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee graduating in 2000. Trey worked as a journeyman electrician until 2016. Trey started his employment with City Of Bartlett Code Enforcement in August of 2016 as an Electrical inspector. As Electrical Inspector he obtained his certification as a Building and Plumbing Inspector. Trey has served on the board of the Southwest Chapter of the Tennessee Building Officials Association as a Vice President in 2017-2018 and President in 2019-2023. In January 2023, Mayor David Parsons appointed Trey as the Director of Code Enforcement.
