The Historic Preservation Commission is established and its powers and duties defined by the Zoning Ordinance, Article VI, Section 25.
In administering the Historic District, the Commission applies the Old Bartlett Historic District Design Review Guidelines (PDF) adopted specifically for that district and grants Certificates of Appropriateness (PDF). In addition, the Commission designates historical landmarks and nominates honorees of the Historic Preservation Awards (PDF).
